Hey all,

I have said news to say that the wii looks like utter crap on my 1360x786 resolution hdtv. Yes i used component cables, yes i switch the resolution to 480i and yes i switched to the widescreen format. Also, i want to add that my old 1980 sony projection tv does a better job in terms of graphics for the wii. Is there anything else i can do to get better graphics on my hdtv? oh yea i also switch to 1:1 aspect ratio and the graphics look great but i get a 7" screen.

your "said" news is no news. We've known this for quite some time. The wii isn't really built for HD.

my LG 42" lcd displays the wii nicely. 480p with widescreen make it more clear compared to the regular composite cables.

if you want the best display connection, use the component monster cables for the wii.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

some of the new tv support 720p and higher but not support 480i or 480p , check with your tv setup manual too.
