I dont get how to make them. I have the Samsung SH-D162c Kreon firmware up to date and the Pioneer DVR 111D DVD Burner. And every time i make a backup the way i used to it wont work. Yet the old backups i have do. I have Maximus Maximus Garyopa XTRM-HITACHI v2 3 Stealth Rev2. So if someone could tell me how to make backups id love you for it

Burn at 4x?

Use Verbatim DVD+R DL discs

Update the firmware to Ixtreme 1.2 rev 2

Any/all of those should fix your prob.

Hey I use those dvd's and burn at 4x and i had installed Ixtreme 1.2 rev 2 once but it didnt read the new backups. Got n e tips about how to burn them for the hitachi 46d. All my other 360 backups work from when i had a sammy but now i cant get a single one i burn to work

I have no idea why but my guess would be the burner. I use a Sony DRU-810A and never had any problems with it.

Have you reinstalled Windows lately? Make sure the layerbreak is set correctly in IMGBurn.

Just throwing guesses out there.

Jesus Christ this is coaster number 9 something is wrong with the way im burning the game it must be cus when i stealth check it in XBC it passes everything but when i burn that file it says succesfull then i go to play it and the system clicks 5 times and says unreadable but then i wait 30 mins and the game works? Only happend with one game but ya i dont get it. My 360 plays the 360 games I had burned a while ago. But the ones im trying to burn now all turn out bad..... Sigh come on someone throw me some ideas this is sad 30 bucks down the drain so far

what steps are you doing when you rip/burn the game? program used to rip it, program used to burn it? layerbreak your using? ect.

I am useing image burn with theses settings

I have every firmware avaiable for the hitachi 46d driver.
But if you wana tell me which one is the best ill change it.
Im also useing pioneer 111d burner with lastest update

umm....have you tried running the games through XDVDMULLETER? not saying that xbox creator is wrong, just curious to see if it passes also. other than that my only other question is are you sure that the burner is booktyping the burns correctly? should be dvd-rom still i believe. it can be done from the main screen on image burn, its in the bottom right corner, one of the three little icons.

Sigh burned another coaster. Im looking into what u said. Which flash do u think is best for the hitachi 46d. I burn and burn and all i get are clicks sigh. But then it plays my older backups. SIGH IM LOST

well the 46 drive i flashed last night i used the new rev 1.2 with toolbox 4.0 and its reading all my games perfectly as of now. and to change the booktype just click on the symbol then on the the lite-on tab (i know you have pioneer burner but when i used the same drive as you have this is the tab i used)then in the first box highlight dvd-dl media, second box dvd-rom. then hit change and you should have a pop-up come up saying 'success' then burn as normal. but no guarantees that this will solve your problem.

Wats toolbox? And I go to light on but i dont have dvd-r dl media and all the other ones say failed

and i have this update Updated pioneer firmware version 1.29.
and im useing this Imgburn version 2.1

honestly i have no clue....only other guess would be either get 2.3 or 'find' clone-cd and try that. but first i would get some 'cheap' discs that way if it doesnt work your not wasting good ones.

Dude, I have recently flashed a drive with that firmware and everything works just fine...

I use the Kreon drive and rip with the latest version of Schtrom.
I burn with the latest version of Imgburn on default settings and at x2 speed on Verbatim printable dual layer DVDs.

I olny use Clone CD to copy one of my backups which again work every time!

Never, ever a problem!

well once you have the iso and the .dvd file from the kreon and xbc

all you need to do is open up clone cd-hit the second from the left button (picutre of pen on cd) and open up the .dvd file and press next pick your burner and thats it burn at 4x if you got verbatim 2.4 on anything else

try what i wrote first and if you keep geting an error on your back ups try a different game i had it with the darkness kept coming up with dirty disc error . it could also be that your dual layer dvd drive is fading and might beo n its way out but thats a last option.
you dont have to change the booktype on pioneers they automatically set to dvd-rom


try to burn another game and use clone cd ive recently found that when i did some changes to my registry on my comp that i could burn the iso and .dvd file with xbc 2.6 but could burn the .dvd to blank dual layer so just used clone cd
