i have a winrar file, i was instructed to extract only the first one. this gave me an .iso file. i have tried to burn the iso file onto a dvd but it doesnt work on my wii. am i missing something. do i have to add more things to the dvd?
Also, if i connected my wii to the internet and updated it. is there anyway for nintendo to find out that i do have a modded wii?
Well he did ask if there was any way for nintendo to find out that he has a modded wii.... so that would imply he would have one... but, the answer to that question could have been found if he searched around one of the 500 other topics asking about wii and online.
Now, as per that, if he has a modded wii, the problem is most likely the media. It is suggested around here to try using verbatim dvd-r.

the wii will read both + and - dvdr however its best to stick with the - type as some people have had issues.
if your wii is modded - have you seen it working with a backup?
try better discs like verbatim or maxell.
and at this moment nintendo do not appear to know if your wii is modded or not, however it would not surprise me if they do and are just monitoring it for now
