What firmware do I need?
What file to copy where from what folder?
I tried searching for it but couldn't find anything close to what I'm trying to do. Is there a way to play PSP iso's from my computer?
Much appreciation.

at least you're starting fresh. upgrade to 3.52 m33-4. instructions can be found HERE
once you upgraded, go to dl.qj.net and search for iRshell. that's the program you need to run iso/cso from the computer.

the m33 creator and kxploiterpatcher are inside of the 3.52 M33 folder. did you download that one? its the first link in the guide. if not get that one and you should be set to go.

the m33 creator and kxploitpatcher are found in the 3.52 m33 download.
you need to download everything found in the tutorial. you can't just upgrade to 3.52 m33-4 directly.

ok, i did everything it said do. i have updated the firmware to 3.52 M33-4. i copied the irshell folder and irshell% folders to the PSP and i went to the psp to the Game Menu Memory Stick, and went to IR Shell. It acted as if it was loading, then came back to the main psp screen and said "the game could not be started". what's the deal with that? what do I do from here?

you probably need to setup the configuration. turn off the psp, and turn it on while holding the r trigger.
once in recovery mode, go to configuration. set the umd mode to sony np9660 -no umd-, and switch the kernel to 3.52.
if iRshell still won't run, switch the kernel to 1.50 and copy all the iRshell folders from GAME to GAME150

you need usbhostfs, which can be found at dl.qj.net. usbhostfs goes onto the computer, and needs to be installed. it allows iRshell to view files on your computer.
read the two pdf files included with iRshell if you have any problems with usbhostfs.

in iRshell, go to DIR View and go all the way until it's ms0:/. press triangle, and you should see usbhost0. choose that. you should see your computer drives on it. just go to the folder where your iso/cso are stored, and choose it.

I got the ISO to show in USBhost. I went to my c drive and highlighted the iso, and when i pushed X, nothing happened. I don't get this, i tried converting the file from cso to dax and iso but irshell would not play it. the file is light grey in irshell, i noticed that other files such as .txt files and .rar files would show up white on the directory view.
can someone please help me?!?!!
