hi there
i've installed 3.52m33-4 on my psp but every game i put it in the ISO folder either it do not appear on game menu or it tells me the game cannot be started
i also cannot run the psx games ...i convert the from iso to eboot.pbp and into game folder and the game do not work....what should i do?
please help me ...
should i change in to another Custom Firmware ? and what one will be the best?
oh, btw you could probably solve this problem by going into recovery mode:
1)hold your switch for a few seconds so your psp full turns off.
2)hold the r trigger and open the psp normally.
3)wait for recovery mode.
4)go to configuration.
5)where it says, umd mode, put it to M33 driver -NO UMD-
6)try your games again.
and for the games that don't show, up, make sure it's a good dump, or make the name shorter if necessary
for example, PSPGAMENAME[www.torrentsname.com].cso.change it to the normal game name.
I have the same issue, I just went from a 2.71 (ta-082) to 1.5, then up to 3.52m33...(All isos worked great at this point)
I then upgraded directly to 3.52m33-4 (isos still worked ok..)
I then went into the recovery menu to see what it looked like, changed nothing and went straight to exit...at this point no isos were working for me...
I then went back to 3.52-m33, still the isos would not work, even though they worked before, so I went back up to 3.52-m33-4 and thats the point I am at!! And still isos will not work...
I have not tried yet to upgrade to 3.71m33-2 as I believe there may be an underlying problem that I am missing because this psp did work fine for isos on both 3.52m33 and 3.52m33-4...
Please can someone message me back with some advice as to where I can go from here? The psp still works (boots up the XMB) and I have got one iso working, but every other one I have tried will not work (I have tried the different naming conventions but all seems fine)
Same problem here. I was using 3.40 OE-A and my isos worked just fine, then I upgraded to 3.52 m33, then to 3.52 m33-4 and to 3.71 m33, added the 1.50 kernel addon 2 and finally updated to 3.71 m33-2.
And now, my isos: Or doesn't run, or doesn't appear. And they all worked fine before this updates... =/
So, does anyone know what can be done??
Oh, for some reason, I'm able to play PSX games with pops, just my iso and csos doesn't work, appear.
Folks, I got it sorted and everything seems to be running fine now!!
I have upgraded again since my last post in this thread, I am now running cfw 3.71-m33-2, but until I made these changes below, I was still geting the same errors as reported in this thread...The changes I made where as follows: -
1. Goto Recovery Menu (turn off then hold R and turn on)
2. Configuration -> UMD Mode - Use "M33 driver"
3. Go all the way back to main menu
4. Advanced -> Advanced Configuration -> (Disable all of them, there is only 2 on my screen)
5. Exit out of Recovery Menu and restart..
Hope this helps you eddiesil, it sounds like you are having the same issues as me!!
