Making a backup of Madden 08 for the PS2.

My friend said he's getting over dvd5 size (4.34gb) while trying to backup madden. Is this true, or is there some dummy files involved etc?

Can someone tell me approx. the exact size of Madden 08?

i didn't have any problem buring it onto a dvd5 size dvd. i don't know the exact size of it but i know for a fact that it shouldn't be so large that it can't fit on a 4.7 gb dvd
