FFVII disc 2 save missing?

hello i am on 3.40 oe-a and ran disc 1 fine...i saved then loaded disc 2 and now all my saves are gone....any ideas?

Disc 1 and Disc 2 for some reason appear as different SLUS numbers, or atleast in my case, making the game not recognize the save. Almost everytime I attempted to merely switch the id manually I recieved corrupt data. My method was to use cwcheat device to export the save to epsxe on the pc, save on the second disc and then port the save back over to the psp using cwcheat once more.
I haven't tried the procedure in some months and there may be better solutions available, but this method worked for me. Hope it helps. :]

use popstation and change the game id tag, it should auto detect it, load up you disc one eboot into the psx image file box the click on the change game id button, take note of what it says it should say something like final fantasy seven in the top box the underneath that in the first box it will have something like SCES or ULUS or whatever you region is, in the next box will be five numbers, copy all these things and load you disc 2 eboot into the program and change the game id settings to that of the first disc, then edit you eboot or whatever you want to do, then click go, once it's finished put it on your psp, it should work let me know how it goes

i checked that and all 3 disc id number were the same,however 2 different ffvii save folders keep popping up even when i erased one.
