Hello all, am having a problem with Firefox updating and this isnt the first time. Basically everytime there is an update, I get this message stating software update failed. Please make sure all other applications are closed and that you have permission to modify these files, and then restart Firefox to try again. I click ok then it automatically tries to update again, then I get the same error message again, but it never stops. I am running xp sp2, I have uninstalled and reinstalled but get the same thing. The last update I kept uninstalling and reinstalling and something took cause eventually it worked. No luck this time, anyone have any suggestions?
