hey guys i have a question

i went to netflix and i clicked on bluray dvd its showing onlt dts and 5.1 just like what we have on dvd

this information is on old movies released on bluray
i thought bd's are true hd ,truehd dts
they are not releasing on true hd /hd dts!!!???
then whats the pint of buying bd except for the quality of video

Completely wrong.

HD and BR use HD audio as well. True HD, DTS-MA, DD+ are some of the new HD codecs for audio, and are night and day difference vs DTS or DD5.1.

There is also room for PCM tracks on HD/BR which are completely lossless.
