Ok heres the thing my system will not open anything i have no security what so ever for my internet any more and all my .exe files have an icon that usually represents that you can't open them and when i try and open them nothing happens I really need help I got important work contacts and files that I can't afford to lose!

Hi, try to right click an icon and open with the root program in 'program files'.......Do they open? You may have some registry corruption and might want to system restore to before the problem.

Oh thanks for your input mate but I fixed it. Just so you no all of the files in program and everything were also txt files and i kept trying to run a system restore but it wouldn't work so what I did was i tried to open the original file not through prgrams but actually through CMD and that worked like a charm. I rolled back the system by a day and everything was working brilliantly
