Hi there,
I recently bought a Lg4040 and burned a few disks. The first ones, Primedisc from ritek worked great in my dvd player, a Thomson 5000, having just a few milisecond breaks with that annoying mosaic/pixel effect, but apart from that great! Then I tried a Princo and some Mitsui, and these were simply HORRIBLE!!! The chapters were constantly skipping ahead and the mosaic/pixel effect was everywhere!!!! Then I tried them in a Denver dvd and they all worked fine... What's going on? Is the problem in my Thomson (why)? Is the problem in the Princo and Mitsui disks? Is the problem in both?
Could anyone give me a bit of help here?

Yeah, your Thomson is probably just picky about media. I have no experience with Mitsui, but I tried Princo and they were crap.

Yeah, that's probably the problem. The thing that bugs me the most is that it plays almost perfectly the primediscs and even SVCD and VCD on any disk.
