So i have an account i want to cancel. what happens to my gamertag, gamerpoints, games bought from market place? do they all get erased?
is it 100% assured that ill be able to recover my account?? please anyone that can help please do.

they all erase if u cancel, u need to phone microsoft to do that, and once cancled u wont be able to recover its gone, if u delete it off of your 360 then u can recover later, but dont cancel.

ok, so delete, but dont cancel. what do i have to do in order to recover it? do i need that windows live id and whatnot? cuz honestly i dont remember what it was...

some XBLarcade games enforce you to be connected to the internet, im not sure if you have to be gold or silver, but if not connected you cannot play....example....i tried to play geometry wars not on xbl, no ethernet cable in the 360, and i cuold not boot Geometry wars, it stated that i must be connected to xbl in order to play
