I have encoded my xvid file with ac3 audio, but when i play it back I dont get 5.1 sound.....I can get 5.1 if I play the audio file alone before I dub it into my avi...but after no. Im using a soundblaster live ...with a Sony str-k502p surround amp using the spdif coax output of the sound card. I have installed the lastest ac3 codecs suggested by this site, but nothing...
I just get stereo. I play back my avi with MSIDVD 5.1 enabled....thanx any help would be app. contact me at eljayeff3@cox.net for any other info...
