What are some of the easier methods of transferring my VHS videos to DVD? As far as I know I need to buy some type of hardware and also use software. Are there any methods where I don't need to buy any hardware?

the easiest way is to buy a dvd/vhs combo machine. You put your tape in one end, dvd disc in the other.Press the button for dubbing and depending on the vhs tape it could be done in a matter of 3 hours.(ITS A PITY IT DOEST IT IN REAL TIME)

I have an LG RC 195

I have a simple VCR hooked up to my Tuner using AV cords... I then just capture using Pinnacle Studio. It's not the best quality, it's not in real time, but it's what I've got.

I know just enough to be dangerous
