I recently bought a Linksys Wireless Game Adapter model WGA54G and is having trouble getting online with it. I set up the game adapter using the software that came with it then tested it. All three LED indicator on the adapter is on but it's not connecting to the internet. Then I decided to set it up manually.

Here's what I did exactly in chronological order-

-Temporarily disable the firewall
-Logged on and updated the firmware on my wireless router (I have the Linksys WRT54G)
-Turned on broadcasting and disable security on router
-Connected wireless game adapter to router
-Logged on to the game adapter and updated the firmware
-Typed in SSID (I made sure SSID on game adapter was the exact same as router)
-Saved and exit from adapter's configuration window
-Connected adapter to PS2
-Powered up PS2 with "modchip mode" turned off
-Setup the PS2 network manually using an original disc (not backup) of RE-Outbreak

This is my current network settings for my PS2 (which is different from my router and I don't know if that's good or bad???):
IP address - 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway - 192.168.1.1

-Saved the setting on PS2 and tested for internet connection
-Connectivity successful
-Connected to the internet and got stuck at 40% on DNAS check

Has anyone experience the same thing or resolved this type of situation? Also, DNAS check never came around to give me an error code so I wouldn't know what kind of DNAS error it is. Instead, it just freezes at 40%. This is weird because I can connect online to download codes from AR MAX and codebreaker, but can't connect to chat and is not able to game online. My PS2 is modded, but as I stated earlier, the mod chip is in sleep mode. I also have a hard drive installed, but the game is not running from the hard drive. I don't know if I missed a step or if the network configuration is set incorrectly, but I would really appreciate it if somebody can help me resolve this nuisance. Thanks in advance.
