ok so im gonna flash my samsung drive and was wondering that if i get the new ixtreme firmware do i have to patch every game with stealth, and how do i patch them.What's kreon firmware, and do i need it for backing up games after ive flashed it with ixtereme. Man i'm confused.Help would be appreciated

Hi, if you flash your DVD with iXtreme your drive will then only accept original games or stealthed games.

If you download games you need to know if they are stealthed and apply some patches if not. If you are playing backups that either you or someone else creates, they must be stealthed backups. To do this rip form a Samsung drive that has Kreon firmware (version 1.00 now) and use either Xbox Backup Creator or Schtrom. I use the latter but it doesn't matter which. Many of us burn using Imgburn and I use a Pioneer burner and Verbatim dual layer DVDs.

The games are stealthed by the software when ripping. If you want to find a burner just search for Kreon on Ebay and you will see what I mean. There are IDE and SATA versions and they can be used internally or in an external USB enclosure.

Spending £30/$60 on this drive is well worth it!
