Hello, i have been reading alot of topics inhere to find an answer to my issue, but i have not been able to.
I rencently flashed my DVD drive, samsung. Adn i think i all went just fine. Afterwards i tried my xbox with original games wich worked just fine, and thne i tried with my 2 burned games, "the orange box" and "PGR4". Well PGR4 starts up and i seems to work until i try starting a game, while loading it suddenly says "disk unreable" or something like that, and tells me i should try cleaning the disk. I were able to make one run but afterwards this happened. In the orange box, my xbox seens to turn into some laggy windows computer:P doh!.. Well first i thought that the disk didnt work at all because after the valve logo appears the the screen just gets black and my xbox freez. Although if i wait like 10 minutes the select game in orange box apears (faded, like ehen loading) and after antother 5 mins the select game looks like it is ready, but the games is not responding, cant even get the dashboard.
So i hope anybody knows what i am doing wrong, or have happened? Bad firmware?
I have burned my games with layerbreak and with 2.4 x speed DL.
Most likely it is due to the cheap discs. Or that your burner is just not doing a great job. Or a combo of both. I would try different DVD's as a firct step. can you get Verbatim DVD+R DL where you are? I know they may cost more but in the long run it is well worth the money.

Weel yeah i can get the Verbatim DVD+R DL here, pretty expensive though and i just bought an IPhone, thats why i bought the cheap ones before. But i will try with a newer burner first, my brother have a pretty new one. And if it still dosent work i guess i just have to buy some new ones?..
I read somehwere that the xbox dvd reader is werry sensitive is this why cheap DL disks and old DL burners, dont work?
yes u are right about xbox 360 dvd reader being sensiitive. u should really get the verbatim dvd +r DL because it wont deterogiate the len on ur samsung dvd reader. i know it's costly but it's worth it.

So wich one of the verbatim disks? i found some diffrent, it is on danish, but i guess you can understand it.
You want them to be a 6X max speed, and not the white top printable type. From what i have read there is a lot of cheap media in Denmark due to the high taxes levied on blank media there. And it may be best for you to find a store in Germany that ships to Denmark and get them there.
