I installed Vmware and uninstalled it...following which i got this error..
0x00000C2(0x00000040,0x00000000,0x80000000,0x00000000)
and am not being able to boot into XP...
neither can i boot into safe mode...
have also tried using recovery console
ad also tried to repair but all failed..what could be done..???plz help

I had same problem, I ended up re-installing Windows
