I've read it but it does'nt say if it can be used to downgrade a 3.52.

the universal unbricker installs 3.71 m33 firmware or official 3.71 firmware on any psp. it works on ALL firmwares.

it's not a full alternative. it's a modified magic memory stick that works with all psp's.

you still need pandora's battery to make it work.

Can you explain to me please.
Can i just upgrade my 3.52 to 3.71 m33, make the battery with 3.71m33 and then use it for whaterver reason?

yep. you still need to downgrade to make it. your 3.52 (assuming that you have official firmware) can't just upgrade to 3.71 m33. you need to be at 1.50 to upgrade to custom firmware.


there are alternative ways to make the battery, but it costs money, and/or involves opening a battery. opening the battery is only for professionals.

the memory stick can be created easily with the totalnewbi installer.

Man!!. I got to excited with myself. i thought you could just jump to 3.71 cfw from any OFW out there.

nope. all custom firmware have to be installed from 1.50

and to install 3.71 m33, there are two alternatives
1. you MUST HAVE 3.52 m33-3 or m33-4 to upgrade to 3.71 m33
2. use the universal unbricker (v3) to install 3.71 m33-2


all custom firmware have unsigned code. and 1.50 is the only official firmware that will accept unsigned code, when properly patched. only sony has the software that can digitally sign codes for the psp.
