PS2 Dual Hard Drives?

I have an 120gb internal hard drive on my V7 PS2 using hd advance 3.0. I'd like a bigger hard drive, but I think the maximum storage space with internal hard drives is 200gb. Does anyone know if it is possible to add an external hard drive without having to remove the internal hard drive, or is it an either/or situation? I like the speed of the internal hard drive, but with an external hard drive the storage space is much higher, plus I could always get another external drive if storage space became an issue later on.

no. you cannot use two hdd. no program can read two. maximum storage is not a problem with hdloader 0.8b. my v7 has a 300gb maxtor. hdloader 0.8b can handle up to 2tb.

Thanks for the info! I did some more research, and just ordered hdloader and a 500GB Maxtor, which according to a PS2 HDD compatibility site will fit in the expansion bay and work with hdloader. I should be able to fit all my (compatible) PS2 games on that (for now -lol). Thanks again!
