Hi,
I've been trying to copy the DVD for Channel 4s Skins Series 1 and had no luck. I have tried using DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter with and with out the RipIt4Me add on, and ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum. None of these will copy it.
I have tried searching for help topics, but as u can imagine, searching for "skins help" usually brings up other responses.
Is this a factory pressed DVD from a studio? What is the file size of the DVD in GB? What happens when you try ripping with RipIt4Me? I'm not familiar with the DVD, but I may be able to give you some ideas if someone familiar with the DVD doesn't show up. What program do you intend to burn with? If the failed log was saved for RipIt4Me, that might be helpful. Look under Logs/Settings in View saved logs. Post it if you have it. If not try it again and save the log.
The DVD is for a TV show. This is the RipIt4Me Log for disc 1, which contained 4 episodes.

Update RipIt4Me to version 1.7.1.0. It's available from Softpedia.com. You'll no longer need the standalone FixVTS, it's incorporated into this version. Use 1-click mode instead of the Wizard and let the program do the complete processing. If it doesn't work, post the log for that one.
By the way, what region are you in and what region is the DVD? Just curious, I saw PAL in the log.
Something went wrong and my last post got ate. Short version, be sure to use 1 click and let program open files automatically in Shrink. Don't use the jump to Shrink function if available (new in 1710). I noticed something in your log it may fix or at least confirm.
Glad you got it going and you're welcome. This is one program best left to do it's own work instead of having user input in the Wizard mode. I use 1 Click all the time.
