Looking for some suggestions from forum faithful.

Basically want a reasonably priced upconverting DVD player that will play multiple formats with good results, i.e. Jpeg, Divx, Xvid, MPEG4, MP3 etc.

I read a little from Cnet.com about the Oppo DV-980H and it sounded appealing...Have been using a standard multiformat Philips player for nearly 2 years and have been very happy but think upconverting is calling my name.

Suggestions?
