console browser says i have v13, can i trust it?

I just went to the playstation browser, system configuration, pressed triangle, and it told me my console is a SCPH-70001. That means my console is a V13. Can i trust this since i want to get the HDcombo installed? Especially since my ps2 has a custom case and does not have the model number sticker on it.

Also, does anybody know of any places/people i could get the HDcombo installed by since i can not solder at all? PM me and let me know.

Yes, the browser config is correct, it will never give you a incorrect model number. Only time you can get a wrong number, is if the sticker on the casing was wrong, and that is very unlikely ever going to be the case, unless if someone changed the sticker, dont see the reason why. But answering your question, you can trust what it says, it will not display a wrong model number.
