So, I´m reflashing my 360 to the new ixtreme version, I have a hitachi drive.

What happens is that I have 30 titles already burned to dvd-dl and nowhere else... After the reflashing I´m aware they´ll be no functional.

I´ve read about buying some particular DVD burners and flashing them so they read original games, but would this be necessary for reading a backup already? Or would any burner read my backup so I can patch it and burn it again?

Thanks
Btw, great community you got there.

Yeah, any burner for an already backed up game. But if you plan on backing up quite a few original discs then the Samsung DVD-Rom drive in your PC is the ay to go for sure.

After flashing my hitachi with ixtreme 1.2, I found that half my games were already patched, since I could play them.

However, I´m inserting the other ones in my LG DVD-DL reader/burner, and windows wont recognize or open them...

I downloaded Xbox Backup Creator v2.3, but when i select read, he says theres a dvd with 6.7GB, but dont give me the option to dump the iso or anything... The start is grey and can´t be pressed.

So... what Am I doing wrong?

try using CloneCd to dump them onto your HD... then use DVD Mulleter to fix the ISO.. there is an AUTOFIX button under the CRC Tab... then reburn the ISO w/ IMGBurn or CloneCD...

then you should be all set.... Mulleter will make the game 100% Stealth... only problem is you are gonna use up some discs... but once you get em all 100% Stealth you will be set....

I'd suggest not using Clone CD as it'll dump it to your hard drive in separate 1 gig files. And I'm pretty sure XDVDMulleter (or any other program) needs the game to be 1 whole file.

You can use Imgburn to dump it to your hard drive.

I insert the burned dvd in the drive, and if I try to open with the explorer it gives me a "no recognized or corrupted disc", okay, but when I open ImgBurn and try to copy the img, it keeps telling me to insert a disc in the drive...

What am I doing wrong now?
