ixtreme update rate?

Hi mates, I´m deciding between buying an IDE to SATA card and reflashing my xbox360 myself and getting it flashed.

Thou getting it flashed is easyer and cheapest, it may eventually get more expensive if I have to reflash again and again...

So, how often does an update from ixtreme or other flashing software arrives? What do you think about it?


And btw 2: would any IDE to SATA work? Unfortunatly I have no acces to the more common mentioned one... unless you know a store that ships it internationally...
