PSX Image Creating Error - Final Fantasy VIII

I am having trouble creating an image file for the game Final Fantasy VIII. I want to make a backup cd. When I try to make an image file (I'm using Alcohol 120%) it gets to about 60%, and has an error. It doesn't give any details and it stops. Can anybody help? I've made backups of games before, but FFVIII is different. I used the program ClonyXXL and it says that FFVIII has a simple libcrypt protection, but I cannot find any .bin files anywhere. Help, somebody?
