okay so im about to get me a brand spankin new ps3 okay and ive got a nice 62' in tv and wanna do some hdmi on it. im wonderin does the hdmi put sound through it too because if so it wont go through my speakers jst the tv right anyone know how to fix that, 2nd is it possible and easy to get a new harddrive in my ps3 if i fill up all the space

1. Yes hdmi carries sound aswell.
2. Yes it is extremely easy to swap hard drives for a larger one all you need is a 2.5 sata HDD from a laptop and it just swaps with the old one.

They're laptop hard drives so they're fairly common because they're just sata laptop hard drives. That being said you're unlikely to find a used one over 100 gigs, and it would be better to just get one new with a warrenty the price diffrence isnt that much and they arent that expencive anyway.

Radio shack is a tad overpriced id try somewhere like circut city or best buy. Personally id get one off of a web based computer company like tiger direct, as they usually have the best selection and prices.

If I were to buy a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter for my iMac, do you think the sound would be picked up?

DVI only carries vid signals no sound. You'd have to go optical.
