wiikey wont read any disc after 1.9b update

I dont know what i have done by my wwii wont read any disk after updated to 1.9b, any disc at all, before update i could except for guilty gear xx accent core, the reason of my update, what;s wrong? i have by mistake updated the wii to 3.1u

and now spits all the disc out, not matter if backup or original.

Did you updated your wiikey to 1.9 and then installed 3.1? is your wiikey a clone?

First to 3.1 then to 1.9b and is not a clone.

i have the same problem. none of my backup games, Wiikey setup disk 1.3, upgrade 1.9b etc worked after Wii firmware 3.1u.

Hi,

I updated my Jap Wii to 1.9b yesterday and it was working fine. I switched it on this morning and no backups, originals or gamecube games will load.

However, the WiiKey Setup + Upgrade CDs will.

So I upgraded to the 1.9g beta, then i reconfigured the wii with the setup cd 1.3 and now it is working fine. ONLY thing I do not understand, is that I have HAD to enable "regionfree" (first option) which I never did before.

Also, I have NOT run Super Mario Galaxy NOR have I updated my Wii Firmware so I have no idea why it just 'died' on me in the first place.

So if you are still having problems, try enabling RegionFree (FIRST option, not the GC one). I hope this helps.
