Ok I recently got DevHook running along with PSP 3.52 custom firmware by M33. Ya its alot of switching back and forth, but it allows me to play Final Fantasty Tactics for PSP aswell as the older games like Coded Arms. But thats when the problem occurs. I can't seem to boot up Coded Arms, I got it first try, but then the next day (today) I had some trouble, I played around with the DevHook "Top Menu" and finally managed to start up Coded arms. But now that I'm at home I can't seem to boot up Coded arms anymore. So basically I wanna know if anyone knows the specific settings I need to set it as to start it up so I wont have to be lucky, I also have a UMD in my PSP at all times. Here are my options:
Start
UMD Select
Firmware
CPU Clock
Boot Select
Flash Rom
Other Menu
Exit DevHook
Thanks for any help I really appeciate it if I end up pulling this off lol.

if you have custom firmware, you don't need devhook. m33 firmware has iso loaders built in.
in the xmb, press home. the vsh menu will come up. switch the umd mode to sony np9660, and exit. then try the game.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Sorry but what does XMB and VSH mean. Forgive me by sounding like a noob but I never saw those abbreviations before >_<

your vsh menu might be disabled. turn off the psp fully. turn it back on while holding r trigger. the recovery menu will show up. go into configuration and switch umd mode to sony np9660 -NO UMD-
exit the recovery menu, and run the games from game/memory stick.

Ok I put it to sony np9660 -NO UMD, and I see the coded arms logo and everything, but when I select it and the PSP "addiingg" fancy white screen finishes nothing happens..the screen stays black. Its wierd though because my final fantasty tactics starts up just fine :(

if the sony np9660 has problems, switch over to the m33 driver.
if you don't use that much homebrew, upgrade to 3.71 m33-2 and reuse the sony np9660 driver. i had problems with my brother's psp. live 08 would always result in a freeze when it was started from standby. upgrading to 3.71 m33-2 fixed that problem.
