hey guys im new to the wii ive been spending the last few years screwin around with the 360 and original xbox but the wife wants a Wii so i ordered this cuz i hav no soldering skills at all
Premodded Nintendo Wii w/D2CKey and i got it from

anyhow the website told me that it would come ready to play backups no need to run a boot disk of anykind i hope its right

what i want to know is

1. in you guys opinion is the D2CKey an ok
chip
2. in your opinion what media would be best to burn games to
3.the advertisement says this

Partial region free support on Wii and GC original and backup games with different videomode (ie PAL<->USA, JAPAN)

does this mean it will play ntsc and ntsc-j games but not pal if not could someone explain partial region free to me

thats actually the only modchip out currently for the newer version wii consoles.. so your all set on that part...

you gotta experiment with the media.. i use anything that is on sale.. +R works great for me with Nero.

its either ntsc or pal. ive never tried a japanese game.

pal just use the free programs to convert them to ntsc- wiigionfree, +wiibriker. just never update anything from a patched game when it ask you to. only your region disk, you can.
