I have noticed that after clicking "Re-Author"/Devices with removable storage/DVD RW Drive (E:)/Main Movie. There are frequently two Titles ( 2 and 3) each of identical size. I find that the first one Title 2) covers the film I am trying to shrink. What is the second title for??

On some movies I have backed up-under main title there are two
identical size titles. One is full screen and one is widescreen.
On Meet The Robinsons there were 3 different titles under the main
title. One was the regular widescreen version. The other two
were from different angles.

Well, if they are identical in size, it'll most likely be that one is full screen and the other is wide screen, as the other member alluded to.

When all else fails, on the back of the DVD box, it would list the available "titles" on the disc. Furthermore, either in the special features section of the disc or when you initially select "play movie," you'll be given an option of what title to play.

If you have to, whatever title you're playing, just check the info that is listed. It'll say something like "Title x chapter x" or "Title xy chapter xy." That'll correspond to the title number listed in Shrink (or any other program you're using).

They are the same identical movie but one is the widescreen version and the other is the full screen version. If you prefer only to have one of the versions, I would suggest before using Dvd Shrink and after ripping the movie to the hard drive, run it through VobBlanker to eliminate all the junk and trailors. You will still have full menu functions. You can at this time blank out whichever version (full or widescreen) you do not wish to keep, then process it. Then, if necessary, run it through Dvd Shrink to fit onto a single layer disc. This way will raise your compression ratio (if you still need to shrink the movie after using VobBlanker) and give you much better picture quality.

Sometimes the second 'Main Title' is the movie with some additional footage like a 'You shouldn't copy this disk' message. This title will generally be bigger than the actual main title to get it selected if you use the one click 'movie only' mode of your favorite ripper. Best bet is to use Shrink's preview feature.
