Hi guys i am not getting sound through HD is it possible that its because of my HDMI cable? IS it possible for an HDMI cable to send video but not audio. Not too sure what cable it is but i paid like $15 so kinda cheap

Yes, HDMI carries both audio and video. If you're stuck with it just connect an audio cable (red/white) If not swap the cable out. If still no workie...bad hdmi connections between tv and equipment.

When i insert the cables and select that option it plays the video in HDMI and the SOund on a different AV i am so confussed.
