I've followed all the proccess in putting permanent subtitles in the avi I used smartripper, dvd2avi, virtual dub, tmpgenc, everything worked out fine until I was about to open the frameserver file with the extension .avi which is suppose to be vdr from tmpenc the error message was that the frameserver file cannot open or was not supported. what should I do?

I've also tried to higher the priority of the directshow multimedia reader but the error was still the same I was going to try deleting the file currentcfg.tpr and TMPGenc.ini but I wasn't able to find the file TMPGenc.ini in the directory so I don't have any Idea what to do, can anybody help me

There's a FAQ in these forums for this issue. One additional point -- save the frameserver AVI with very short name, like x.avi
