Replacing bricked Hitachi 47 with Samsung...Please help!

Just ordered a Samsung ms28 to replace my bricked Hitachi. I've never used Firmware toolbox before, but let me see if I got this right.

01. Open Firmware toolbox.
02. Open iXtreme firmware 1.2c (Samsung version)
03. Replace FFFFFFF.... key with key from my bricked hitachi (which I have stored in a text file)
04. Click replace key
05. Go up to Tools, Click on Spoof Drive and Select Hitachi 47 as my drive type
06. Copy MTKFLASH and newly patched iXtreme firmware 1.2c to bootable floppy
07. Shut down PC
08. Connect Samsung ms28 drive to VIA Sata card on PC
09. Connect croc clips to PC and XBOX 360
10. Turn on PC and boot to floppy
11. Turn on Xbox 360 and wait 10 seconds
12. Type "mktflash w /m /sata ixtreme.bin " without the quotations and hit Enter
13. After flash is complete, shut down PC and XBOX and unplug the sata connection and croc clip. Reconnect XBOX 360 dvd to its sata cable.


Is all of this correct? Am I missing anything? Do I need to make a backup of the original firmware on the samsung ms28 drive even though it's being spoofed as my original hitachi?
