It simply collects files you open(including your username) and web-sites you visit.

To check what is there :

1)start Kazaa lite

2)run WinHex

3)Tools ->Ram Editor

4)click kazaalite -> kppaddon.dll

5)press ctrl+f, search for 'visited'

Note : when KL is not running, kpaddon.dll does NOT include visited-information

Sounds dodgy. Why would I do all that when I can just use WinMX.

Why use WinMX in the first place? This i would reckon is not spyig on people at all, more like its required for kazaa to work as they monitor the sites you visit to choose what banners to load for you, I know on kazaa lite there are no banners, but the dll may be required for the program to run in the foirst place, still very interesting though!

Using Kazaa-Lite is just as bad as using "original" Kazaa cuz it supports that ugly network and Sharman...
