wii set up disc read problem

I Installed my wiikey, orig games read just fine, i havent tried reading a backed up one, but when i put the set up disc in the wii, it reads it for a bit then an error message comes on the screen and tells me to eject and turn off the game, i have tried burning all the versions of the set up disc and all of them have the same problem, any ideas why?, maybe im burning it wrong? im using nero, and burning just the iso files , someone help me on this thnx.

I'm having the same problem. What dvds are you using? I tried some cheap staples dvd-r and sony dvd-r with no success. I ordered some verbatims and Taiyo Yuden. If that doesnt work for me im going to open my wii up again and check my connections.
The wii homepage wiikey.cn says it works for all versions of the wii but that is not true. If wii chip is a D2C the wii key will not work.

what firmware do you have on your wii?
