I just down graded my psp about a week ago, and I used the Lumines downgrade. My friend wanted me to downgrade his psp to a 1.50 from a 2.00. Since I downgraded it using lumines, I wanted to go that route. So i upgraded his psp to 3.50, and then tried to downgrade using Lumines, but it didn't work! I look on his mother board, and there is no writting on the upper rigth hand corner! My mother board has IC1003, and his doesn't. Does this play any role in downgrading his psp with lumines? I do see numbers on the left hand side, but i can barely see the numbers. What do i have to do?!!!

The Lumines downgrade should still work fine, it just means that his was an earlier motherboard (TA-079), yours was a TA-082. By "didn't work" do you mean it bricked or that the dowgrader just wouldn't run?

I ran the lumines game and I pressed start, and then it restarted. I checked and it was running 3.50 HEN. Then i went to my game folder to run the UPDATE X.YZ and it looked like it was going to start the downgrade, then in red it said, "battery needs to be at 75%" then it resets itself to the normal screen. The battery was charged and i had my psp plugged in. I did about 3 times, and it didn't brick.
