I just bought Nero 8 last weekend, never having used the program, or seen anyone use it, before. I want to record my old 45s to CD and thought it would be simple. I'd then to buy the ADS gizmo and, on top of that, a Photo PreAmplifier and I've played one of my 45s as a try-out through the system. However, the recording window only gives me a Microphone option and I can't see how to move the Level Meters in the Audio Input Settings to anything other than in the red. It records as a .wav but the sound distortion makes it useless. Can anyone please take me through the steps I should be taking to record my 45s onto the computer, then to CD?
