Wiikey Update 1.9b flashes but config1.3 disc error... any ideas?

Hi everyone,

I've recently installed my wiikey and burnt the 1.35GB config1.3 and update 1.9b iso's.

I am able to flash the wiikey with the 1.9b update but the config1.3 disc wont work. I keep getting disc error.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

yea I found a solution to it in another thread. The link is as follows:

I have been unable to test the make-multiv3 disc they talk about as I don't have a Gamecube controller to go through the menu options.
But the disc does load up and run which is a good thing. I expect my config1.3 disc will work.
I burnt my first PAL backup today and the wii has no trouble playing the disc what so ever. I am really impressed with the wiikey. It works really well.

In the thread i linked read about what they call GCOS boot disk and make-multiv3. It's what I did. You will need a gamecube controller to be able to use the menus.
