reading problems with wiikey

I recently chipped my Wii with a wiikey and ive been having some negative feedbacks. All games are highly seeded PAL games in .iso format, i burn them with ImgBurn on x4 Speed on Verbatim-R discs. I havent updated the wiikey any since i got it back (two weeks ago), acording to the company that chipped my wii they updated (or maybe its called flashed, unsure) it themself. So all should be more then fine, right?

3 time out of 4 when i try to play a disk i get the error that it cant be read when trying to start it up. 2 times of 4 while playing i get the error. all can be sloved by rebooting the wii but in long runs its really agitating.

anyone know what the problem could be? i thought it was the discs i used before(originally burned on DvD+R before i got time to buy the -R once, but only for like a day or so)that caused the problem, but now when using the -R once thats recommended im not seeing any diffrence. Might my chip be damaged some how? or is it maybe not updated?

i would really appreciate help, thanks

EDIT: would just like to add so that it stands out clear. i havent done anything to the chip in ways of updates since i got it. i've just burned the discs and played.

Hey, i got the same problem. DVD-R verbatin doesn't work alway's. First time the Wii starts it recognise the game. Second time it doesn't see the game anymore. I try to dig it out also. If someone could help with this problem. I would be very glad.

I just burned 4 games on a Platinum DVD+R with booktype settings dvd-R And now it works fine. I think my burner doesn't like verbatin dvd-r. Mabey that's your problem as well. Try it out.
