Hi, I am trying to shrink "Bridge to Terabithia" but the message below keeps coming up. Is this due to the disc being scratched or is it coded. It is a region 4 as I am in Australia.
Any help greatly appreciated.

CRC errors typically mean that cannot be read by either dirt, scratches or defective from manufacturer, but can sometimes be generated by copy protection on the disc itself. You aren't using DVD Shrink for ripping are you? I would suggest DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip your disc to the HDD first before importing into DVD Shrink.

Ahh, yes I have been ripping with Shrink and it is usually ok. Cheers for you advise Ill try DVD Fab.

Good luck with it and let us know how it goes. Just for the record DVD Shrink has been defunct for about 3 years now and won't ever see any more updates...it is still an excellent tool for compression.

Just did this disk (Region 4) with DVD Shrink and AnyDVD in background. Encode time 6.54mins Burntime 8.15mins. No problems with playback.
You may have a faulty disk.
