My sister just got a psp today and unfortunately its firmware is 3.51. Well, good thing I have a custom FW psp which is still 3.40 OE.
so I've been reading this guides on how to downgrade a 3.51 psp and it seems possible with the help of another psp(1.50 or CFW)
Anyway, I still havent tried it yet and will try it soon or later so I was just wondering if once you got the Magic memory stick and the Pandora battery can I return them back to their normal state?
I mean like use the battery to power up the psp and the MS to save games etc..

yes you can, use the Magic Stick inside the XMB to use the Battery Creator and turn the battery back to normal, then JUST format the magic stick and you are DONE, battery and memory back to normal.

PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD
PS3 HD 60GB: 1.33 > 1.90 > 2.01 > 2.17 - NO OS
Nintendo DS [+[__]%]: EZ Flash 5 Plus + 1GB MicroSD + EZFlash 3in1
Nintendo Wii: 3.2U + 1GB SD Card + WiiKey 1.9s

Great, and now I'm about to start..(still charging my psp)
But before that I have a couple of questions.
>>How long is the estimate time to create a magic memory stick and the pandora battery?
>>I don't have any spare battery, I only have the ones that came with the psp(which is from sony), although I'll just use mine since it's older. Will that work?

anyway, I'll be sure to ask again once I get some problems.

To create it doesn't take long at all...
But I suggest you take enough time to make sure you do it all right and not cock anything up...
Use your battery...it will be fine...
Make sure you backup your battery eeprom when you run Pandora...

I've done it... it's now 1.50 woooooot
now I just need to update it to 3.40 OE, since it's the only one that I have right now.
Anyway, yup, it was pretty easy. and I used my brother's PC which runs XP and it worked out fine.
Well, Thanks to the guides here. it really helped a lot.

By the way, can I upgrade the psp from 1.50 to 3.40 OE(or higher custom FW)? if so, can you guys give me the direct link.. thanks
Also, for my own psp I used the easy installer that upgrades from 3.30 OE to 3.40 OE, so I was just wondering if I can also use that easy installer to upgrade the 1.50 to 3.40..??

I know that there are already higher custom FWs but for me this is still the best CFW as of right now..
