hi

i heard that there is a portable hd-dvd player. it is similar to the hard disk case that you can make from the internal hd to external hd(using usb).
this hd-dvd player, it's the same, and you save ur movies in the harddisk, and if you want to see ur movies you can see it on ur hd-tv, by plug the cable to the hd-tv(from the hd-portable to hd-tv).

can any one tell me if this thing is there or not??? and does it support 1080i/p ???

This sounds to me like the XBox 360 HD DVD attachment. It supports up to 1080p via VGA but "only" 1080i by component.
