I changed the video ffrom .avi to .mp4 using pspvideo9.
I copied the mp4 into \mp_root\100mnv01.
Disconnected usb, went to video, and there was no video listed.

Am i doing something wrong? last time i did this was when i had 3.03oea (which was a loooong time ago)

May I suggest using 3GPconverter for your video converting needs? Way better than pspvideo9 (IMO)...

1>Backup the contents of your memory stick to your PC
2>Format your memory stick via the psp's system settings menu
3>Transfer your converted mp4 files to the VIDEO folder located in the root of your memory stick
4>Grab some popcorn, and enjoy your movie..

No problem-
The reason for formatting the memory stick is because it creates the folder directory based on the firmware you are using..In the newer firmwares, the MP_ROOT and 100mnv01 folders arent really used much...Your videos may work if you put them in the ms0:/MP_ROOT/101ANV01 also-But I would just put them in the ms0:/VIDEO folder to be safe.

No, if you have a psp with 3.xx, you can name the movie anything you want (ex. transformers.mp4).
