I'd really like to know an official release date. Most sites say November 2007, but the Playstation website says "2008" no month or anything. Is anyone else waiting for this game? I'm a BIG Socom fan.

I read first quarter 08. If it is November I would be as happy as a fat kid in a candy store right now.

I actually can't remember exactly where I read it. To tell you the truth nobody knows the release date. Anything you see or hear about it right now is just speculation. I do think we can give up on November. Another rumor I read(just surfing the web can't remember where) is that Socom 4 is still scheduled for a release of November 2008, but I guess all we can do is wait and see.

The release date as of now is 1st quarter 2008.
Check out call of duty 4 until then ( nov.6 ).

If COD4 its any where as good as resistance fall of man online, it will be amazing!

Yeah Resistance is awesome! I'll be looking into COD4 for sure. I hope SOCOM: Confrontation lives up to it's name though.
