well i can confirm super mario galaxy did get leaked on the net and does have some sort of new copy protection. i did not bother downloading the file because i do not support torrents or illegal backups, i buy my own games but from reading the nfo this game will not work with the moded wii's but is out there for hackers to bypass the protection and to get a better understanding of what wii comunity is up against. nfo

On another board it was confirmed as a fake, google mario galaxy fake.. The torrent got deleted on the first site it was uploaded to because it was a fake. The user who upped it also got banned for upping a fake.

Me thinks...

a :: some guy doing this to get the internet community into a frenzy = success.

b : viral marketing/scare mongering the wii modding community. = success/semi success..

/me edits post because I just watched multiple videos of some guy playing on youtube....dunno wat to think now, could still be faked tho with gameplay footage played on a tv.......

/me edits again.

Apparently there are now nfo's (not the one the guy who uploaded it to a torrent site made) making it onto 'official' nfo websites........They also mention the error...

to clear things up the fake torrent one was rumours from 2 days ago and before i posted this topic up i was fully aware of that and this is not the one im talking about. this release is a Scene Release pred by a legit scene group who have released other games in the past. well all i can say it was pred 2 hours ago and its not nuked and im not trying to start rumours or hype thing and get to much p2p on here because i dont support pirating stuff but but i think this is a legit rls. im hoping my self its fake and that the new protection on the games are lies but this one does seem to be the real inchilada.

From what i have gathered to only 'known' user had a cyclowiz and it failed, i'm watching another thread in another forum as some guy is trying to test w/ his wiikey i think, doubt it will work tho.

it was a real release, i know the site who did the first release and the reason why it was removed is not because it was a fake! and the person who upped it is NOT BANNED LOL omfg people talk so much s**t

a scene release is out

anyway, im planning on buying this one if i like it, just like i do with all the games i like

The ultimate Nintendo hero is taking the ultimate step... out into space.
Join Mario as he ushers in a new era of video games, defying gravity across
all the planets in the galaxy. When some creature escapes into space with
Princess Peach, Mario gives chase, exploring bizarre planets all across the
galaxy. Players run, jump and battle enemies as they explore the many planets.
For Mario to succeed, gamers will press buttons, swing the Wii Remote and
Nunchuk controllers and even use the Wii Remote to point at and drag things
on-screen.

NOTE: So apparently, there are some new security from the Nintendo people?
looks like we got some new copy protections on this fucker. We had
too much "juice" at the halloween parties so couldn't think well
enough to bypass. Thought someone else who was more 'sober' could
do it...Happy Halloween...Let's-a GO!

=================================

PLEASE READ:
This release currently does NOT work with any modchip. If you burn normally, it prompts to install an update. I suggest NOT running the update, as the game won't work anyway and no one is really sure what the update does. Even if you apply WiiBrickBlocker, you'll only get a black screen. Again, at this point in time, there is no known workaround.
Looks like it's finally getting widespread release now...

You guys are way behind. It has already been confirmed real but currently only works on the D2CKey. I have it and it doesn't work on my wiikey but it shows up on the wiimenu. They are working on a fix right now and there are all sorts of virus' popping up claiming to be fixes so don't run anything on your pc until its a confirmed working fix.

This was posted and discussed 3 days ago. If members would take the time to read past threads you would have seen the other thread.

Which is HERE.
