Hi guys. I am thinking about buying a new PSP Slim. I never owned a PSP before. I want to be able to play official games and new games when they are released but I also want to use it for emulating NES, SNES, etc. Is that possible with a custom firmware? After buying my PSP what would I need to be able to do this? I checked the guides but couldn't find anything definitive.

You probably didn't read enough b/c if you had, you would've found something definitive.

Two things you need:

Despertar_del_cemetario v3
Custom FW 3.71 installer

Find literature on those and you've got what you need.
