im connecting my 360 directly to my computer which is on a wireless network with an internet connection but i cant get the 360 to go live, help plz!

right click on your wireless network icon. go to properties.
click on the advanced tab. then clcik allow other to use this connection.

Does your wireless network have a router? IF so you should be using a crossover cable and connecting to that rather than the PC itself. Or is your PC one with a wireless card.

Sounds like he's got the box ethernet into the computer, which has a wireless nic. All i know is it is possiable, google up on using this type of networking. You may need to configure your ethernet card as a bridge or something.

the easist thing to do is to get a long cable to go from the router to the xbox or get a wireless card for the xbox - no way around it, this is the easiest thing to do ... you'll save yourself hours of trouble

personally if your going to buy something then a wireless gaming adapter like this would give you wireless access to XBL through your network.

OMFG i already told him how to do it. this is how i do it. u dont have to buy anything. u just a need a crossover cable runnin to your comp and have internet connection sharing on.

Don't get your panties in a wad. People are just offing suggestions, which is what a forum board is for in the first place. I would personally much rather spend $80 and go wireless then be on the end of a cord.
