i installed a dms4 on my V7 PS2 and now it wont start =(
before i go opening her up again, id like some info

i could not get the D F G H and I wires to stick to their points, so i followed the lines on the circuit board to the legs on that black thing (i dunno what its called =P) and soldered it there. (i thought this would work because i heard of people doing this when they burned the points off their wii when installing the wiikey.) could this be the problem?

if not, could anyone give me advice? did i brick the PS2, or could this be fixed (with or without the chip)

otherwise, i guess its probably a loose solder point.

thanks in advance
