Let me tell you brief set up of my current setup first before i ask what i am after,

at present we have many CCTV cameras which are plugged into a DVR system think its called and also a keyboard.With keyboard we can navigate to any cameras we like.But we also have a video splitter so the live video can be feeded to live plasma screens. this is separate to the keyboard. If i am right it comes from the keybaord. Here we have 8 splitters and can show any live cameras. Say i press 6 camera 6 will go live on the plasma screens and so on. one of the splitter is used solely for laptop so we can do our slides or flash logo to be shown on the plasma screens.

Ok now what i want is, i wanted to know if its possible to add text overlay to all live video broadcasted? something like make all the video go to the Pc then output from Pc to plasma screens? also wanted to add some effects to the video which i guess can only be done via softwares so has to come from PC. so would like some sort of ideas what i can do...hope you guys understand my setup and what im after
